September 1963 Showa Valve established at Seribashi,Hikone by Kenichi Nakagawa(founder)
June 1968 Incorporated as joint-stock company; capital 5 million yen
February 1979 Head Office and factory moved upon completion of Koizumi Factory; started manufacture of automatic valves, special valves, and large size valves
July 1979 Authorized as approved inspection factory by Japan Water Works Association
February 1980 Authorized as Approved Factory by Japan Industrial Standard Association
September 1982 Granted Spec 6D for pipeline by American Petroleum Institute(API)
December 1985 Office in Hong Kong opened as first step of expanding overseas business ;Wellmate Ltd. established as local valve trading firm
October 1990 Dalian Showa Valve Co., Ltd. as joint venture, established in Dalian, China, and started local operations
March 1991 Tokyo Office opened.
July 1992 Head Office renovated to accommodate modernization of offices and updating of machines and facililties
August 1994 Awarded ISO 9001-International Quality Standard by Bureau Veritas Quality International
November 1997 Dalian New Showa Valve Co., Ltd. established in Dalian, as second factory in China
November 1998 In order to offer rapid service, extend new warehouse in Hikone Factory
March 2002 In order to expand the production capacity in China, Increase the capital of Dalian New Showa Valve Co., Ltd. and start to build the new factory
April 2006 Concluded a sole agent agreement for Japan market with Dezurik U.S.A.
July 2006 Expansion of a factory building and construction of new headquarters logistics terminal
February 2007 Tokyo Office moved to reinforce sales and services in the Tokyo metropolitan market
June 2008 Authorized as approved factory for new JIS marking system by BUREAU VERITAS.
November 2009 Fukuoka Office opened to reinforce sales and services in the Kyushu market
November 2010 Awarded ISO 14001-International Environmental Management Systems by Bureau Veritas Quality International

February 2012 In order to expand the production capacity in China, China factory moved and re-build

September 2012 Osaka Office opened to reinforce sales and services in the Kansai market

March 2013 In order to offer rapid logistic service, renovated headquarters logistics terminal

June 2013 Opened Inae factory in Hikone Kanazawa town
October 2014 Opened Vietnam factory in the suburbs of Hanoi
